I have just created a freewebs site to invite peaceful and concerned citizens of the world to discuss any ideas to end terrorism in a way that does not involve the use of force. The site lists the Privilege of Passage Plan the I just read in author John Errett's new spy thriller book "The Owl and the Hawk" http://www.theowlandthehawk.com/privilegeofpassageplan/index.html
The book is fiction but the plan is not. It is actually before the State Department right now.
The book stirs up emotion and kicks the "safe part of the world" in the pants. It reminds us that so much of the world's people live in fear and experience brutality.
The plan is compelling in that it uses the force of finance instead of brute force to counter terrorism.
I invite everyone to join the discussion on this new site about this and any other way to promote peaceful anti -terrorism plans.
I think this plan, if implemented, would more than pay for itself in terms of loss of life prevention and prevention of economic loss in the same way that the government's underfunded Anti Terrorism Assistance (ATA) training program does.
